WHO WE ARE
A bit about us… we met in college and spent our pre-kid vacations at bed and breakfasts in the US and Europe…. we hatched fun plans of getting away from it all and becoming inn keepers in a beautiful place we could also call home. Two awesome teenagers, two cute Labradoodles and two zany jobs in the Bay Area have us living a new version of that dream…. and here we are!

It would be wonderful to share this special place with you! We’ve savored the break from busy lives in Silicon Valley and the respite that the deck outside (and a glass of wine!) offers each day. We’ve loved dog friendly hikes, the chill town of Incline Village, and of course, the splendor of Lake Tahoe. Above all, this home has been a chance to reconnect as a family, take a break and enjoy simple pleasures.

INCLINE VILLAGE
Nestled along the northern shores of Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, Nevada is conveniently central to year-round activities and entertainment. The town has stellar recreation facilities, including private beaches, golf courses, boat launches, tennis courts.

In the summer, enjoy proximity to Sand Harbor beach which hosts the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. Spend the 4th of July attending Incline Village’s Red, White and Tahoe Blue festival packed with events and performances for the holiday. The Flume trail, recognized as one of the nation’s top 10 scenic mountain biking trails, is nearby, along with Spooner Lake State Park. In the winter, Incline Village is home to the family-friendly Diamond Peak Ski Resort. Mt. Rose – Ski Tahoe is only a short drive (15 minutes) up the Mt. Rose highway. And, Northstar California is only 20 minutes away. Tour the historic Thunderbird Lodge, enjoy an array of dining options, explore the extensive trail system, or relax lakefront on the crystal blue waters of Incline Village.
